HUTTO, Texas | James Allen Dutcher, 68, of Hutto, Texas, passed away Friday Feb. 7, 2014, of cancer.
He was born Aug. 14, 1945, to Kathryn and Ernest Dutcher, of Mason City, Iowa. Jim graduated from Mason City High School in 1963, served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 and retired from IBM of 30 years in 2006.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy (Hoots) of 45 years, his daughter Joy, three grandsons Tyler, James, and Sam, and siblings Betty Moen (Bob), Elsie Hansen (Don), Marylou Patten, Delbert Dutcher (Jo Ann) and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bud and Gene Dutcher.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Point of Grace Church in Pflugerville, Texas
