Joseph Allen "Joe" Bennett, a resident of Denham Springs, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at 8 a.m. at his home. He was 56.

Visiting at Salem Baptist Church, 36474 Weiss Road (off La. 447), Walker, on Monday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. until graveside service in the church cemetery at noon.

Survived by his daughter, Dawn Danieal "Dee Dee" Bennett; sister, Lorraine B. Lee and husband A.E. Lee; four nieces, Wanda L. Genda, Cheryl L. Jackson, Theresa Lenard and Tina McCann; and nephew, Mike Lee.

Preceded in death by his father, Leslie E. Bennett and mother, Marie L. Bennett.

Renaissance Services of Gonzales, is in charge of arrangements.
