Betty H. Bartrug, age 90, of Hundred, WV passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 16, 1927 in Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Fred Hixenbaugh and Emma Lemmon Hixenbaugh.
She is survived by two sons, Bennie Bartrug and wife Diane of Hundred and Randy Bartrug of Hundred; 3 grandchildren, Jason Bartrug and wife Georgeann of Reader, Brian Bartrug and wife Missy of Hundred and Megan Nartowicz and husband Jerry of Hampton, VA; 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Garold Bartrug who died August 1998; one son, Garold Edward “Eddie” Bartrug II; and three siblings, Ruth Jones, Bob Hixenbaugh and a sister who died in infancy.
Betty was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, Earl Kiger Post #120 in Hundred.
There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services as cremation has been chosen for final disposition. Arrangements are being cared for by Masters Funeral Home in Mannington.
