Blanche M. Pride, 91, of Forest Avenue died Monday at the Barron Center.
She was born in Portland, a daughter of Edwin M. and Mabel A. Stanton, and attended South Portland schools.
Mrs. Pride was employed at Porteous, Mitchell & Braun in the main office for 14 years and later at the Credit Bureau of Greater Portland for 18 years. She retired in 1969 and moved to Glendale, Calif.
She returned to Maine in February of 1991.
Surviving is a son, Donald E. Pride of Portland.
At her request, there will be no visiting hours or service. Arrangements are by Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St.
