He was employed at Lafarge in Ohio for 22 years. Tracy loved sports and enjoyed coaching his son and grandson baseball. He was an active member of First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe and was involved in Operation Song. What he did best was being a PawPaw to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiriam and Catherin Smith and his son, Randall Smith.
Survivors include his daughter, Shawna; sister, Regena Butter; daughter-in-law, Angie; 11 grandchildren, which included Mason, Lyla, Eila, Kyla and Mary Lynn.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe with Pastor Jason Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mason’s College Fund, for details contact Lisa Bannister at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe.
