WILLISTON, Mrs. Emma Jane Jerrell, 83, died yesterday at the residence of her daughter Mrs. R. C. Byrne, following about two weeks illness.

A native of Quitman, GA., Mrs. Jerrell spent most of her life in the Levy County area, She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Ocala.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the Williston Baptist Church. The Rev. L. M. Simmons of the Temple Baptist Church of Ocala will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Joseph F. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is in Charge of arrangements.

Emma Jane Jerrell was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Drucilla Frazier McCoy Jerrell and step father, Bennett Jerrell, and her husband Samuel Jefferson Jerrell, all of Williston, Levy Co., FL.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. M. B. Townsend, Ocala; Mrs. E. J. Geiger, Newberry; Mrs. B. H. Sistrunk, Williston, Mrs. L. H. Avant, Arcadia; Mrs. Mae Wallare, Williston, and Mrs. Johnnie Boka, Titusville.

Also, four sons, E.l. of Williston, Lewis of Sarasota, L. A. of Savannah, GA., and herbert of Williston; four sisters, Mrs. J. F. Howard, Tampa; Mrs. H. W. Williams, Ocala; Mrs. George Lloyd, Gainesville, and Mrs. J. W. Mikell, Branford. She had 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be A. R. Smith, P. F. Bell, Herbert Redding, E. L. Barton, Fred Drellen and Herbert Bronson.
