GEORGE BOYER DEAD
--
We regret to report the death of Conductor George Boyer chich occured at his home on Clark street this morning between 9:30 and 10 o'clock. He was taken sick a week ago last night with the influenza which developed into pneumonia about three days before his death.
The death is especially sad as Mr. Boyer was but thirty-three years of age. He leaves a wife and four small children to mourn his loss besides his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. William Boyer, who reside in Austin and one brother who is serving his country in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Boyer has resided in Austin for the past twelve years and was a railiroad [sic] conductor on the C. M. & St. P. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. He was an exemplary man in his home where the comfort of his family was always his first consideration. He has a large circle of friends who will deeply regret his loss to the community.
The funeral which will probably be private, will be announced later.
