Born in Haileyville, she was the daughter of Felice and Filamenta (Clementa) Ranzo. She graduated from Haileyville High School and began working at the U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot until 1952, when she married Mike Andrew Lovera on Dec. 29, 1952, in Krebs. She then began helping with the Lovera Grocery, which they operated together until his death in February 1987. A resident of Krebs, she died at her home at the age of 77. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sam and four sisters, Tracey Thomas, Gennie Windham, Stella Lucci and Lena Steifer.
