Earsley “Rosie” West, 92, of Battle Creek, died Friday at her residence. She was born in Allred, Tennessee, the daughter of George and Mary Belle (Poston) Allred.
She married Haskell West on December 23, 1928 in Allred,Tennessee. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1979. They moved to Battle Creek in 1941.
She was employed as Rivet machine operator for U. S. Register, retiring in 1973 after 30 years of service.
She is survived by daughters Linda (Carl) Keyes, Leda (Larry) Farnham, Lola (LaDean) Ferguson of Apache Junction, Arizona: son Larry G. West; sister Erie Austin of Battle Creek.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Letha J. West on July 4, 1986, five brothers and two sisters.
Burial to be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
