Carolyn was born Sept 6, 1936, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to James and Hattie Beach. The Beach's had a 40-acre farm on the east side of Mountain Home, located on the south side of what is now East American Legion Road, where they raised chickens for their poultry business. Carolyn was the youngest of the Beach’s four children, (Deloris, Harold, Lorraine and Carolyn). All of the Beach children attended what is now Bennett High School.

As part of Carolyn’s high school curriculum, she was employed by the McLaughlin Law Office and that association continued after graduation and spanned 40 years. She was acclaimed as the finest Para Legal in the state. During that time, on her own initiative, thru the University of Idaho, she completed the required course work and earned a Law Degree of Jurisprudence by correspondence, and with honors.

On June 10, 1954, she married Elmer Harold “Kirk” Kirkham. The couple had one child during their marriage, Deborah Ann Kirkham. The couple eventually divorced.

On August 15, 1979, Carolyn married Donald Robert Kubitschek. She spent the rest of her life with Don.

In her leisure time, Carolyn enjoyed being a member of Business and Professional Women in the 1960's and 70's. She traveled throughout the state, embracing the organization. On the recreational side, she became an accomplished slalom water skier and a smooth snow skier.

Christmas was probably her favorite season. It gave her the opportunity to entertain and share love with her family with a beautifully decorated home for the holiday season. Christmas Eve she loved having her grandchildren in her home and serving the annual prime rib meal, prepared by JoAnn Aguirre, enjoyed by family and friends.

She traveled extensively with her grandkids; to dance recitals throughout the State of Idaho for Kristen and soccer matches for Aaron in the youth soccer program.

The greatest highlight of Carolyn's life was her only child, Debbie. Their mother/ daughter relationship was very close. The two always managed to have time together if only for a minute or two each day.

She is survived by her husband Donald. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Debbie Hofer, her parents, James and Hattie Beach, brother, Harold J. Beach, and her two sisters, Deloris Munsey and Lorraine Foster. Memory of her will remain in the hearts of numerous nieces and nephews who thought she was a special person and especially in the hearts of her two grandchildren, Aaron Hofer and Kristen Darling.
