Gail Ann Achterberg age 70 of Dardanelle passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her home. She was born October 4, 1949 in Modesto, California to the late Albert Achterberg and Barbara Ella Campbell Achterberg. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Our mother was a free spirit all her life. She was loving and kind, always ready to help, even those who were not so lovable. She was a good Samaritan helping those who couldn’t help themselves. Our mother loved unconditionally. She taught us to be strong and independent, to embrace life with open arms and to enjoy every moment. Our mother was there for us in the good times and supported us through the bad times. Her legacy of love will live on through her children and grandchildren. Gail Ann Achterberg, our mother, will be missed by many.

Survivors include her children, Kindle C. Lancaster (Lewis), Mead A. Crowell (Tina); one sister, Marcell Achterberg-Jackson; two nieces, Shelley Doneth, Rhonda Whitt; grandchildren, Kaylee G. Lancaster, Ethan M. Lancaster, Cooper Lancaster, Kenyon Crowell, Cameron Crowell, Colby Crowell, Kylar Crowell and great grandchildren, Case Cooper Lancaster and Colt Lewis Lancaster.
