Ferne Lowe Colvin, 86, of Falmouth, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
She was a retired registered nurse from St. Luke Hospital East, a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Nurse Corp, an elder at Morgan Christian Church, Falmouth, a board member of the Pendleton County Health Department, and a member of the Democratic Women's Club. Her husband, Carl Colvin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Alan Colvin of Plant City, Fla.; a daughter, Brenda Baker of Atlanta, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Christian Church, Falmouth. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery, Falmouth.
Memorials are suggested to the Morgan Christian Church, 88 Morgan Berry Road, Falmouth, Ky. 41040; or the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 106, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
