Virginia Phillips
Virginia McBride Phillips, 86, of 1524 Doctors Drive in Bossier City died Friday in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Phillips is a native of Eros and had lived in Bossier City the past 50 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Bossier City Chapel with the Rev. Tom Cole, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Bossier City, officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Launer of Topeka, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Delia Chandler of Bossier City; five grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J. B. Moss, Charles Launer, Rodney Launer and Dwight Sandahl.
