Mrs. Edna Reddick, Was School Teacher
NORTH HALEDON – Mrs. Edna Brewster Reddick, former teacher in the Ridgewood elementary school system, died Saturday after a brief illness. She was 85 and had been a resident of the Holland Christian Home for the last two years. Mrs. Reddick was predeceased by her husband, Howard, six years ago.
Born in Nyack, N.Y., she had been a resident of Ridgewood for 75 years prior to entering the home. Mrs. Reddick was a retired school teacher and belonged to the First Reformed Church of Ridgewood and the Women’s Guild of the church.
She leaves one son, Brewster Howard Reddick of Bellingham, Washington (or Massachusetts.) (One printed obituary stated Washington and one stated Massachusetts.)
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of the Holland Christian Home, Graham Avenue, North Haledon. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack. Arrangements are by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
