Vicki Lynn Evans 57 of Plum Grove in Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington KY.
She was born in Ashland KY on June 11, 1963 a daughter of Paul Clifton and Tyrene Genevieve Conley Evans.
She was the Genealogist for the Greenup County Public Library, a member of the Greenup County Genealogy Society, a member of the Greenup Old Fashion Days committee as well as the Plum Grove community watch.
Vicki was a fiercely loyal and dedicated friend; her passion was her nieces and nephews as well as helping anyone research their family history.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2011.
She is survived along with her mother by a brother, Arthur Clifton Evans and his wife Jodi of Oldtown; a sister, Tammy Hulett and her husband Larry of Argillite; two nephews, Christopher (Dawndy) Evans and James Arthur Evans; a niece, Jenny Lynn (Clint) Adkins; seven great nieces and nephews along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dedicated friends.
Graveside services only will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Old Fields Cemetery in Argillite KY by Brother Ronnie Blevins.
At Vicki’s request there will be no viewing or traditional funeral service.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with Vicki’s arrangements.
In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made in Vicki’s honor to the Genealogy Department at the Greenup County Public Library 508 Main Street Greenup KY 41144.
