POWELL Betty Jean Powell, 70, of Richmond, entered God's Eternal Kingdom November 18, 2006. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber W. Joyner. She is survived by her sons, Robert E. "Gene" Banes and his wife, Carol, Leonard T. Walsh and his wife, Diane, Ernest L. Walsh, and Leslie E. Walsh and his wife, Sherry; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; special friends, Margaret Cooke and Tom Sutton; and numerous relatives, neighbors, and friends, all of her kitties and Puppy. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to P.A.L.S. or Adopt-A-Cat.
