David Parker Holt, age 30, died April 13, 2006 after a 2 ½ year battle with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare pediatric cancer. David is survived by his parents, Robert and Parma Holt of Silver Spring, three brothers, a sister, seven nephews and a niece. David was a member of First Baptist Church of Silver Spring his entire life. He graduated from Springbrook High School and attended West Virginia University and Montgomery College. David was an active softball player and avid local sports fan. He enjoyed the company of friends and family and touched many lives through his generosity and selflessness.
