OBITUARY: McComb Enterprise-Journal, McComb MS, 23 Sep 2004
Willene Alexander May, 71, of McComb, died Sept. 21, 2004, at her residence. Burial will be in Boyd Cemetery in Pricedale. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. May was born June 1, 1933, in Pricedale. She was the daughter of Leon Alexander and Myrtie Boyd Alexander.
She was retired with 30 years service with Kellwood Co. She was a longtime and faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene in McComb. Her family referred to her as a lady who was very dedicated to her family, church and friends.
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Theresa May.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Johnny Robert May and Marie of Pascagoula and Raymond J. May of New Orleans; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Isaac Arenas of Budingen, Germany; three grandchildren, Kayla May, Alex May and Angelina Arenas; two sisters, Claudine McCullough and Linda Pigott, both of Pricedale; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dale and Iris Alexander of Port Arthur, Texas, and Lee and Joy Alexander, and M.D. "Pete" Alexander, all of McComb; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
