Graveside services for Henry Gordon Timms, 93, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Syl Moore, a retired Baptist minister, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Timms died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, in Heritage Oaks in Lubbock.
He was born Nov. 13, 1904, in Comanche County. He married Maurine Condra on Oct. 20, 1928, in Winters. She died Dec. 6, 1966. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, and he was a member of the Petersburg Masonic Lodge and the Church of Christ.
He farmed in Maple, Spade, Petersburg and Anton. He moved to Lubbock in 1972. A daughter, Newma Carnes, died Sept. 6, 1996.
Survivors include a son, Gordon B. of Anton; two sisters, Pearl Wood of Ballinger and Maudie Thorp of Hemet, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
