Henry's mother was Sarah Dupree Bentley. She died in Virginia before her husband William Field Bentley.
Henry lived in TN with an Uncle and became an Attorney. His father William Field Bentley was sickly and elderly so Henry took care of him in TN until William Field Bentley died in 1871. I am still looking for a grave site. I found this information in the genealogy books by Barbara Bentley Bridges, back in the early 1960's and seventy's.
Henry then moved to Texas and became a pillar of the community.
