Graveside services for Wanda Lee (McLish) Whittington, 72, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at Maxwell Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Whittington passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at her home. She was born October 7, 1947 at Ada to Sherman and Lillian Hilton McLish. She lived in this area all her life and attended Byng school. Everyone called her “Momma”

Ms. Whittington had worked as a cashier in retail, and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved plants and her little dog “CiCi”.

Survivors include two sons, Sherman Whittington, Comanche and Wayne Whittington, Ada; her grandchildren, Brandon Burns and wife Kalesha, Ada, Rowdy Whittington and wife Julie, Virginia, Caden Foskuhl, Colorado, Ashlynn Whittington, Waurika, Austin Whittington and wife Madison, Virginia, and Avery Whittington, Comanche; her great-grandchildren, Justin Sharp and Dane Sharp, both of Colorado; Abigail Whittington and JoJo Whittington, both of Virginia; Isiah Davis and Marcus Davis, both of Waurika; a special nephew, Dustin Breechen, Ada; other nieces and nephews; and a special friends, Betty Sanford, Wichita Falls, TX and Susie Hall, Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, John “Brownie” Hilton and Dave Breechen.

Honorary bearers will be her grandsons, Brandon Burns, Rowdy Whittington, Austin Whittington, and Avery Whittington; and JoePaul Johnson and Billy Ward.
