Daughter of the late George W. Sports and Mary Alice Gunter Sports.

She retired from the Marlboro County School District where she worked in the school cafeteria as a cook. She was a faithful member of the Bristow Free Will Baptist Church, the Adults Sunday School Class, the church choir, and served as church pianist.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; by brothers, Carrol Sports, Ronnie Sports, Grady Sports, John Sports, Billy Ray Sports and Olin Sports; and by a sister, Betty Julia Sports.
