Obituary: A native of Russia, Heidt came to Fresno in 1922. Illness forced him to retire from his job as a mahinest with Santa Fe Railway. He had been with the Company for 30 years. He and his wife, Elizabeth, celebrated their 50th. wedding anniversary January 20th. He was a member of the Zion Congregational Church. Besides his widow, he is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Marie Bippus, Mrs. Martha Bopp and Mrs. Pauline Woodyard, all of Fresno and Mrs. Bertha Workman of Colton, San Bernardino County.
