On Saturday, September 12, Perry Pealock of Buford, GA passed away at the age of 58 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bob Pealock and Jane Pruitt Pealock of Buford, GA.

He will be lovingly remembered by his dog, Knucklehead; sister, Pam Pealock Taylor; nephew, Nick and Anita Taylor; niece, Andrea Taylor and Jeremy Bennett; great nephews: Cole Taylor and Jay Bennett; great niece, Kara Taylor; second Mother, Harla Samples; and countless cousins and friends all from Buford, GA.

He was a 1980 Buford High School graduate where he played football and was part of the 1978 state championship team. He never lost his passion for the game or his community and was a regular attendee of home and away games. He was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. Perry worked for Moreno Press and Dittler Press and Walton Press with over 40 years of service where he was a supervisor and also in the printing division.

While always the biggest supporter of his nieces and nephews who played softball and football, respectively, growing up; he also was an intense fan of: The University of Georgia, live concerts, NASCAR and Bill and Chase Elliot.

As a life long resident of Buford, GA, he was always active in the community and willing to lend a hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens graveside with Rev. Kenny Stephens officiating. Per the deceased’s request, dress is casual. The family will receive friends at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens Saturday beginning at 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Memorial donations may be made in Perry Pealock’s name to the North Gwinnett Cooperative, 4395 Commerce Drive, Buford, GA 30518.
