HARVEY, JR., EARL EVAN, 88, of Eden, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Morehead Nursing Center in Eden, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Harvey was born in Miami, FL to the late Earl Evan and Jane Comstock Harvey, Sr. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur, GA and retired from AT&T Lucent after 47 years of service as an electrical engineer.
He is survived by daughters, Ellen H. Garrett of Eden, NC and Dr. Barbara H. McCollum and husband Eric of Macon, GA; sister, Molly Harvey Burrell (Mrs. Troy Burrell) of Morriston, FL; 2 grandchildren, W. Jerry Garrett, Jr. of Hickory, NC and Christopher Harvey Garrett and wife Lisa of Martinville, VA; and 1 great- grandchild, Mary Jane Garrett of Hickory, NC.
