Mrs. Julina Elizabeth Whitby, 87, Passed away at the Golden Age Nursing Home, Rib Lake, on Wednesday, May 23. She was born on September 14, 1885, at Floyd, Va., and came to Price County, April 11, 1918. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Prentice.

Funeral services were held at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, on Saturday, May 26, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Bryan of the First Congregational Church, Prentice, Officiating. Burial was in the Prentice Cemetery. Survivors include: her children Dewey Conner, Prentice, Meda, Wiles, Prentice, Weeta (George) Beba, Ephrata, Wash., Luther Conner, Troutville, Va., Lelia (Walter) Oldon, Catawba, Mary Kundinger , Gainsville, Fla., Agnes Clark, ' Prentice, Mabel (Clinton) Hollander, Gainsv1lle, Fla., Carl Whitby, Prentice, and Larry Hettler, Prentice; 23 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Wally Wiles, Lyle Conner Sr., Darwin Conner, Ken Clark, Wayne Anderson and Roger Zielke.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dusek Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ruka, Mrs. Leora Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bezrouch, all of Ph1llips; Mrs. Ruby Zielke, Spirit; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Erickson, allot Catawba; Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Weber, Franklin; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bain, Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Netland Jr.,Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Cedric Dering, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Darol Preisinger, Milwaukee, Mary Kundiger, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hollander, Gainsv1l1e, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Buchanan and family, Withee.
