Mrs. Belle Colbert, wife of Mr. Jas. B. Colbert, died this evening at 3 o'clock. The deceased had been in a critical condition for several weeks, and though her death was not unexpected, yet its announcement was received with deep sorrow and regret by her many friends. She was a devoted mother and a loving wife. Besides her husband, two young children survive her.
"Not dead---O say not words so drear, That darken life for many a year, O'erflowing sorrow's cup; Out of a world of carking care Into a life all bright and fair, Only lifted up,"
The sympathy of a host of friends goes out to the bereaved family.
