Esther Faye Fitzwater, age 90 of Milford, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Hospice East in Anderson Township. She was born December 20, 1929, in Middletown the daughter of Frank and Opal (nee Liming) Roberson. Esther was a graduate of Withrow High School and retired as an office manager for a General Practitioner. On June 11, 1947 she married her husband of 73 years, Joseph Fitzwater, while he was home on leave from the service. Esther was a long time member of the Milford First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe, daughters; Jo Fitzwater Oligee, Karen (Peter) Stitsinger, grandchildren; Marc (Jennifer) Oligee, Jennifer (Gary) Powers, Emily (Jason) Boots, Jon Oligee, great grandchildren, Grace Powers, Gabe Oligee, Ella Powers, Carson Boots, Zach Oligee, Ebby Oligee, Kate Powers and Kendal Boots. She was preceded in death by her sister Juanita Marshall. Services will 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Milford First United Methodist Church, 541 Main St. Milford, OH 45150. Visitation for family and friends will be 9:30AM until the time of service at the church. Her family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor can be made to the Milford First United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263.
