Arthur Raymond "Bejohn" Davis, Jr., passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at his home in Sasakwa, OK.
Bejohn was born February 5, 1951 to Arthur and Annabelle (Coker) Davis in Wewoka, OK. He graduated from Sasakwa High School in 1970 and he was a member of the National Guard.
He married Barbara House on November 7, 1992 in Sasakwa, OK.
Bejohn enjoyed riding his four wheeler on the South Canadian river and spending time with his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by five sisters; Vicki Davis, Vivian Trejo, Lou Ann Davis, Georgia Long, Marilyn Davis and one brother, Terry Davis. Three children, Victor Davis, Yauna Walker, and Lavina Perales. Ten grandchildren; Josh, Raechel, Nathan, Makayla, Kelby & Karter Davis; Rayla & Trenton Davis, Kamry Walker, and Alissa Frair. Six Great Grandchildren; Rowen & Eli Davis, Kade Davis, Jaden Sanchez, Kolby Alexander and Kasyn Harjo. Also surviving him are fourteen nieces and nephews; Charles & Martha Gibson, Eric, Jessica & Rickenda Hall, Jeremy McPerryman, Leah Davis, Tori Parker, Alexandria Waller, Kimberly Castro, Charlie Hitcher, Jerilyn Fixico, Jesse Howard and Brianna Davis.
Preceding him in death were both of his parents Arthur & Annabelle, wife Barbara, and one grandson Colton Davis.
Wake services are planned for Saturday, January 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK. Bejohn will then be taken to Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK on Sunday, January 5th at 4:00 p.m. with wake services to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Monday, January 6th at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at the Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa with Rev. Jimsey Harjo and Rev. Houston Tiger officiating.
Pallbearers are Chris Fixico, Abe Davis II, Jay Harjo, Kenny Bowlegs, Tom Ledgerwood and Mick Clarey.
