Peter was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America having worked for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad for 40 years.
According to the obituary published in the Quad-City Times 1981-07-03, pg 6, survivors include his wife; a son, Llewellyn, Racine, Wis.; one grandchild; and sisters, Kate Pannell, Mrs. Tim (Alice) Decker, Gertrude Wessels, and Mrs. Howard (Anna) Shear, all of Fulton.
