Services will be Wednesday in Portland, Ore., for Vera McKee, 57, who died Saturday in her Capitola residence.
A native of Idaho, she had lived in Portland for 52 years before coming to Santa Cruz County in 1975.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Shields; two brothers, Ronald Freauff of Portland, and Edward Freauff of Coquille, Ore.; two sisters, Ruby Grosmick of Portland, and Melba Stricker of Vancouver, Wash.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. McKee who died in 1973.
Services will be at Ross Hollywood Chapel, N.E. 48th and Sandy Blvd., Portland, Ore., Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Rose City Cemetery in Portland.
