Ottoline Victoria “Vicky” McCurdy, age 90 of Atwood, passed away on September 8, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Milan after a brief illness. She was born in Egypt, MS on March 8, 1930 to Robert and Iris White Wilson. She was a member of the Atwood Church of Christ and she had worked at the Milan Arsenal and later at the Atwood Post Office.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Thomas McCurdy, a daughter Patty McCurdy, three brothers Donald Wilson, Corbett Wilson and Ortis McCurdy and one sister Aliene Stricker. Vicky is survived by two daughters Debbie Wilson (Dennis) of Medina and Pam Westbrook (Claude) of Goldsboro, NC, a brother Coolidge Wilson (Brenda) of Dyersburg, two sisters Dean Szumal (Joe) of Chicago and Peggy Richards (Roy) of KY, seven grandchildren Stephanie Rollins (Eric) of NC, Steven McNabb (Carrie) of NC, Leslie Evans (Josh) of Milan, Alan Roberts (Sara) of Jackson, Wesley Crocker (Amber) of NC, Leah Beth Crocker of Nashville and Taylor Sanders of Greenfield, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday September 12, 2020 at 12 pm at the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood.
