Mrs. Arthur Ewing

Mrs. Dora E. Ewing, 78, died at 1:40 a.m. today in her home on Lancaster Route 1. She was the widow of Arthur Ewing, whose death occurred in March, 1948.
While Mrs. Ewing had suffered from a heart ailment, her death came unexpectedly. Yesterday she accompanied family members to the family lot at Forest Rose cemetery to plant flowering memorials on the graves for Decoration Day.
Surviving are one son, Robert of the home; three daughters: Mrs. Mary Louise Hanstein, Baltimore, Mrs. Florence Hoson, Brilliant, O., and Mrs. Dorothy Snider, Lexington, Ky.; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ina Hammitt, Lancaster Route 5, and two brothers, George Cruit, Lancaster Route 5, and John T. Cruit, Lancaster.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m., in the Ray Wise Funeral home with the Rev. George W. Herd of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial is to be made in Forest Rose. Friends may call any time at the funeral home.
