WINCHESTER, Ind.--Mrs. Lillie Abernathy, 87, R.R. 2, Winchester, died early Thursday morning at the Randolph County Hospital following an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Abernathy was the widow of Mr. George Abernathy. For the past several years she had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Denton, R.R. 2, Winchester.
Surviving are Mrs. Denton; another daughter, Mrs. Jeff McFadden, R.R. 2, Winchester; two sons, Frank Abernathy, Bloomingport, and Harry Abernathy, Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thornburg Funeral Home, Winchester, with the Rev. Zelma Mills officiating. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
