Jacob is survived by his wife of sixty years, Emelda (Montoya) Armijo, children, Cynthia Cox and her husband, Curtis, Jacob Armijo II and his partner, Michael Guevarra and Darin Armijo, seven grandchildren, Andrea Chávez, Joseph Chávez, Deanna Chávez, Curtis Cox Jr., Dominic Job, Jacob Armijo III and Hope Armijo, six great-grandchildren and siblings, Carmen Montoya and Ernie Armijo.
Jacob was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Cecilia Armijo, parents, Pasqual and Sofia Armijo and brother, Pasqual Armijo Jr.
