Obituary
Juanita M. Woodard, 95, passed away at her son's home in Sears, MI on May 16, 2018. She was preceded in death by her sons David M. Eddington and Gerald L. Eddington, her parents Milo D. Sanford and Zelma G. Jaynes, her brother Billie R. Sanford, and her half-sister Virginia Newsom. She is survived by her sons Joseph "Tom" Eddington, Leslie (Linda) Woodard, and Carl (Barb) Woodard, her sister Dorothy McFarland of Oceanside, CA, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Juanita served in the Women's Army Corps during WWII from 1942-1943. She retired from Wolverine World Wide. She took pride in her family and in her military service. She was the Sergeant at Arms at the American Legion in Belding and would go there almost every day for a soda and socialization. Her door was always open to everyone. She loved going for drives around Crystal Lake, as much of her life was spent in the Crystal area. She was an active member of Pine Grove Church in Stanton, MI and played the organ there for several years, and in later years attended Sears Church of God in Sears, MI and Shiloh Community Church in Orleans, MI. We enjoyed her sense of humor and wit. Juanita will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of her life and luncheon will be held at the American Legion in Belding, MI on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2 pm with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Memorials in memory of Juanita may be directed to the Belding American Legion Post 203 or the Sheridan VFW Post 5065, envelopes are available at the funeral home or the service.
