Jean Tankersley Watkins was born December 13, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio; the daughter of the late Willie H. and Lorene Moore Tankersley. She was united in marriage to Carl Watkins who preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children, Cara Watkins of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Kevin McCreary of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret Blomer of Cincinnati, and one grandson Gavin Howard; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sue Sizemore.
Jean Tankersley Watkins departed this life Monday, September 7, 2020 being 76 years, 8 months, and 25 days of age.
Funeral services for Jean Watkins will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
