Bernice R. Reavis, 97, of Thorndale, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at a Rockdale nursing home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor with the Rev. Cliff Egner officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bernice R. Reavis was born on June 16, 1910 in Edinburgh to Francis and Ivy Tunnell Russell.
She married A.J. Reavis on Aug. 20, 1950. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1995.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Taylor. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Marion Reavis and wife Judy of Universe City; four daughters, Betty Kay Morlan of New Albany, Ohio, Joan Alexander of Arlington, Joyce Richardson of Pflugerville and Charlene Olbrich and husband Leroy of Thorndale; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Taylor or the charity of your choice.
