Death of Mrs. Engel-- Mrs. Sarah A. Engel died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Hansen, of heart trouble, following an illness of five weeks. She was 62 years of age and had lived in the county 36 years. Beside the daughter, a son, Larry McCarthy, of Kiowa, Colorado, survive. She was a sister of Mrs. Gail Borden, wife of the big milk manufacturer.
Mrs. Engel possessed the pleasing personality of so many of the old timers who have preceeded her to the Great Beyond. She was a devoted mother and a woman who was well liked by countless friends. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Catholic church.
