"Mrs. Belva M. Gingrich, seventy-five, widow of Chester A. Gingrich, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell S. Shoop, Bainbridge R1, with whom she resided for several years. A native of Bainbridge, she was a daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln and Amanda Fink Bachman, and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Bainbridge. Surviving are these sons and daughters: Eleanor, wife of John E. Lynn; Harrison H., Chester B., Oliver H., Marlin R., John L. and Harold G. Gingrich, all of Bainbridge; and Ethel, wife of Russell S. Shoop, with whom she lived. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Cloyd Leiter, Camden, NJ; Mrs. Annie Smith and Harry Bachman, both of Bainbridge."
