Mr. Goble was born in Alabama June 4, 1925. He was retired from the Army serving in both the Navy and the Army and serving during both WWII and Korean conflicts.
Surviving are his wife; Rose Warrick Goble of the home, two stepdaughters; Nancy Anders Curley and husband Steven of Statesville, NC, and Evelyn Hines and husband Edward W. of Galax, VA, a stepson; Roger Dale Anders and wife Loretta of Statesville, NC. One half-brother Ray Goble of Alabama. Four grandchildren, Andrea Hines, Rachel Anders, Matthew Curley and Allison Potts, two great grandchildren Sidney Kirk and Grace Potts, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Military Graveside service will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pine Mountain community on Wednesday September 9, 2020 beginning with Military Honors provided by Grayson VFW Post #7726.
