Services for Aldro L. Cunningham, 71, 1107 VanWie Ave, who died in his home Sunday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Julain-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N 5th Street. The Rev. Myron Merkel, assistant pastor of Second Congregational church, and the Rev. Robert B. Davis, pastor of Third Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Willwood Burial Park. Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 o'clock tonight.
Mr. Cunningham was born May 10, 1886 in Cobb, Wisconsin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Cunningham. He had lived 43 years in Rockford, coming here from Wisconsin. He married Grace Bergh, June 7,1909 in Rockford. He was employed by Woodward Governor company.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Mercedes Sorensen, Fairfield, Connecticut; three brothers, E.A. Edgerton, Wisconsin, and Merle and Floyd, both of Long Beach, California; and two grandchildren.
