Dorothy was born November 13, 1929 in Springfield the daughter of Anthony and Barbara Petreikis. She married Gilbert Capranica September 17, 1949 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
Mrs. Capranica, a graduate of Lanphier High school, was a homemaker and a member of the Lithuanina-American Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gilbert John "Gil" Capranica, seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband: Gilbert of Springfield; one son, twin daughters; five grandchildren.
Funeral Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
