She was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Adamsville, a daughter of Cyril and Lauretta (Fisher) Dale.
She was a resident of Klinger Lake and White Pigeon for more than 50 years, coming from Constantine. She was employed at Constantine Creamery, Ross Labs and retired from Kirsch Company in 1993. She was a member of Constantine United Methodist Church, White Pigeon American Legion Auxiliary, Mintdale Women's Club, carb clubs and dominos club. She traveled in Europe, Mexico and much of the United States. She enjoyed her family the most and watching her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's events.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathi (Doug) Garn Abbs of Sturgis; a son, William Garn of White Pigeon; four grandchildren; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Rhonda (Ron) Schlupp of Nahmoish, Wash.; a half-brother, Rick Dale of Campbell, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; stepchildren Kay (John) Borgelt, Tom Diller, Steve Diller of Dinley, Ohio, and Karen (Ray) Morris of Pandora, Ohio; 10 step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Diana Kemp; three husbands, Edward Garn, Art Wolgamood and Howard Diller; brothers Laren, Richard, Ray, and Ronald; and a stepdaughter, Jean.
Visitation will take place 4-4:30 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Constantine United Methodist Church. Services will begin at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with Pastor Tiffany Newsom officiating. Donations may be directed to Constantine Methodist Church or Thurston Woods Village. Arrangements are by Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon.
