80, Wolfville, passed away at home on March 14, 2012, surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late George and Mabel Adeline 'Mae' (Brown) Johnson. Marjorie attended Herring Cove School and Queen Elizabeth High School. She graduated from the nursing pro­gram at the Hali­fax Infirmary in 1951 where she worked briefly be­fore starting her family. She enjoyed gardening and the ocean and walking on the beach. Dur­ing the many years she lived in Sus­sex, N.B., she was a member of the African Violet Club. Marjorie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed life and cherished her family who will miss her dearly. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Gary Gallant, Lebanon, Tenn.; Ronald (Maria) Gallant, Osha­wa, Ont.; David (Theresa) Marriott, Sussex, N.B.; Craig (Kerry) Marriott, Riverview, N.B.; daughters, Patricia Gallant, Wolfville; Lori (John Lathrop) Santoro, Upper LeHave; grandchil­dren, David, Joseph, Alex, Matthew, Michael, Stephen, Joslynn, Christoph­er, Jonathan, Shannon, Benjamin, Owen and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Gabrielle; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her first husband, George M. Gallant; her sec­ond husband, Donald A. Marriott; brothers, Norman Johnson, Bernard Johnson and Ronald Johnson.
