Mayer's light will continue to shine in heaven as it did on earth - to be a living example of a loving, caring son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend with whom he shared this light. He will be remembered for his loving smile and gentle manner with all his family and friends and fellow beings.
Mayer was a student at Principia College in Elsah, Ill., and a recent honor graduate of Sonora High School, where he excelled in anything he ventured to do. He loved his music and guitar and had a growing talent with his beautiful writings and artwork. There is no doubt that what we know of Life is only a partial view of what God has in store for Mayer and all the rest of us.
Mayer is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Michelle, his sister, Jordan, his grandparents, Norm and Doris, and Sonny and Taeko; his grandmother, Ganelle; his aunts, uncles and cousins.
