Imogene Baisden Berry, 77, who resided in Danville at Boone Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Boone Memorial Hospital,
Madison, after a long illness.
Born Nov. 6, 1927, on the Ball Fork of Turtle Creek, Boone County, she was the
daughter of the late Eddie French and Rosella Ball Baisden. Mrs. Berry was also
preceded in death by brothers, Seigel, Seybert and Curtis Baisden; and by one
sister, Sybil Bell.
Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and attended the First Church of the Lord Jesus Christ
at Garretts Fork, near Chapmanville.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Leon Logan Berry of Lake; daughter and
son-in-law, Valda and Tony Harshbarger of Lake; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan
and Penny Berry of Hueytown, Ala., and Gary and Mildred Berry of Salt Rock;
brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Geneiva Baisden of Six Mile; grandson, Jeff
Berry of Mason County; granddaughters, Kristy and Tracey Berry of Hueytown, Ala.;
and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Memory Gardens,
Madison.
