Leora Nix Crawford, 94, wife of the late Harold Crawford, went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Born in Oconee County, SC on April 12, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Mac Nix and the late Lona Moore Nix.
She worked at several Anderson area textile mills and ultimately retired from Wamsutta as a Spinner. She was a member of North Anderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Leora is survived by her daughter Norma Smith (Tommy), grandchildren, Janet Benoir (Mike) and Chris Smith (Jennie) and great-grandchildren, Kylie and Jaxon Smith.
She is also survived by her sister Pauline Bryson and several nieces.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter Nix, Ralph Nix and Viola Nix Alexander.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Anthony Fields will officiate.
