Oldest of the eight children born to Aaron Burr of Connecticut.
Brother of Henry B (1820-1902) & George S (1822-1888) (both buried in the West Side Cemetery in Geneva) & Bradley Burr (1838-1916). Little is known of his parents or sisters.

Married December 30th, 1848 in Fallsbury, NY to Mary Jane Brown, with whom he had three children: Clarinda “Kinnie” (Frank) Wolgamuth, Minerva Burr & Charles Burr. The family moved from New York to Geneva, IL in the 1860’s.

No death record has been found for his wife Mary Jane, born in New York c. 1825, but she’s presumed to have died sometime between 1905-1910.
