Michael was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific and European Campaigns. He was assigned to the U.S. Merchant Marine Ships as a naval armed guard. he also participated in the Murmansk Crossing and was awarded the commemorative Medal from the Soviet Union.


Husband of the late Marie "Mariah" Ungrady Agoes; son of the late John and Veronica Lewis Agos; brother of the late George Agos, Christine Bronek, Mary Jablonski and Olga Evans; and stepson of the late Harrison Thorn, he is survived by three daughters; one brother, John Agos; and one sister, Veronica Krisak, both of Hamilton Twp, NJ.
